![]() ![]() Supposedly it works with Unreal/Tournament/Deus Ex/Rune and more. There is a custom DirectX 10 renderer for Unreal engine games. *BUMP* The gamma/brightness issue still bugs me, makes Unreal engine games really hard to play. Since the brightness slider does not do anything there either, my guess is that it might be a gamma issue? Interestingly, the GOG version of UT Classic that I ported using Porting Kit does offer OpenGL and works just fine. To my knowledge, the UT engine did not have OpenGL from the beginning, they only added that later. I am almost sure that the native Rune port for Mac OS Classic was OpenGL, but I am not sure. The reason I bring up OpenGL is that under this setting the brightness value might work. The game might even fall back to Software Rendering if OpenGL is forced, but textures look filtered to me. I also tried forcing OpenGL in the ini file (the setup dialog only lets me chose Software and Direct3D), but while that seems to work on first glance, it produced a lot of visual glitches for me. ![]() 1.0), the slider reflects that, but there''s no effect. Editing the Rune.ini file also seems to do nothing. Unreal Tournament (99) has the same problem. The problem that remains is the Brightness problem. Right now, with Porting Kit, I get the message you described, but the Save/Load process as such works. I said *in the past* with my own porting attempts I had a Load/Save problem. You can try to create the port again or open the Properties of the game in the PK library and select the force fullscreen option, which should replace the actual value with "Current Resolutionx24sleep0", which should work. For some reason the screen option value was replaced with "(null)". It seems to be a problem with the game screen options. ![]() With the crash log for WineskinLauncher being this.
